Refund Policy
At Beauty Bargains, we specialise in sourcing authentic, premium products at clearance prices. Because our stock is often limited or part of one-off acquisitions, we have a specific policy regarding returns and refunds.
1. Change of Mind
Please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds or exchanges if you simply change your mind, decide you don’t like the product, or if it doesn’t suit your needs after purchase. This allows us to maintain our low “bargain” pricing for all customers.
2. Faulty or Damaged Items
Your purchase is protected by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. If an item you receive is faulty, not fit for purpose, or damaged in transit, we will meet our obligations to provide a remedy.
- Replacements: If we have the item in stock, we will send a replacement at no additional cost to you.
- Refunds: If a replacement is unavailable due to our limited stock nature, we will provide a full refund of the purchase price via your original payment method (Stripe/Afterpay).
3. How to Request a Return
If you discover an issue with your order, please follow these steps within 7 days of receiving your package:
- Contact us via our website or email with your order number.
- Provide clear photographs of the damage or fault, including the packaging if applicable.
- Keep all original packaging until we have reviewed your claim.
Once your claim is approved, we will provide instructions on the next steps. Please do not return items to us without prior authorisation.
4. Shipping Costs for Returns
If an item is found to be faulty or damaged in transit, Beauty Bargains will cover any necessary return shipping costs. We will provide you with a pre-paid courier label or reimburse you for the shipping cost once the fault is confirmed.
